Weapons list

A list of all weapon types and metals they come in! James the weapons master shall explain!

Hi there everyone! Ok then, here is a list all the Free World weapons.

Dagger - weak basic weapon - made with 1 metal bar

Short sword - slightly stronger than dagger but still weak - made with 1 metal bar

Long sword - stronger sword - made with 2 metal bars

Scimitar - fast sword with increased strength than normal swords - 2 metal bars

2 Handed sword - strongest sword increases strength the most - 3 metal bars

Axe* - simple clubbing weapon - 1 metal bar

Mace - another simple clubbing weapon - again 1 metal bar

Battle axe - strong clubbing weapon strength is good but low attack rate - 3 metal bars

War hammer - same as battle axe but not as cool looking!

*Mainly used for chopping down trees, rather than as a weapon.

These are the materials that weapons can be made out of in the game

Bronze - basic metal

Iron - basic metal, stronger than bronze

Steel - medium/low strength metal

Black - medium (for some reason this seems weaker than steel, but black armour looks cool!)

Mithril - medium/high metal

Adament - high metal, great for Dragon Slayer Quest

Rune - highest, best metal in Free Worlds (also most expesive! - like we needed to know James!)

Magic is the second most used attack style used in Runescape. Here is a list of all spells used in battle and which runes they need.

Strike Attacks

Wind - 1 air + 1 mind

Water - 1 water + 1 air + 1 mind

Earth - 2 earth + 1 air + 1 mind

Fire - 3 fire + 2 air + 1 mind

Bolt attacks

Wind - 2 air + 1 chaos

Water - 2 water + 2 air + 1 chaos

Earth - 3 earth + 2 air + 1 chaos

Fire - 4 fire + 3 air + 1 chaos

Blast attacks

Wind - 3 air + 1 death

Water - 3 water + 3 air + 1 death

Earth - 4 earth + 3 air + 1 death

Fire - 5 fire + 4 air + 1 death

Wave attacks

Wind - 5 air + 1 blood

Water - 7 water + 5 air + 1 blood

Earth - 7 earth + 5 air + 1 blood

Fire - 7 fire + 5 air + 1 blood

Archery (or ranging as it is known in Runescape) is widely used, but not as much as the above. It is the most expensive for of fighting in the free worlds but does have it's advantages... Here are the available bows and arrows types.

Bows

Shortbow - the weakest bow, very simple, best to start with

Longbow - upgrade of shortbow, slightly better

Oak shortbow - depsite being a shortbow it is better than normal longbow

Oak longbow - best bow in the free worlds

Crossbow - can be used with shield not as good as a wooden bow though

Phoenix crossbow - aquired through Shield of Aarav quest bit better than crossbow

Arrows

Bronze - basic arrow heads

Iron - medium arrow heads

Steel - best in free world

Bolt - used with crossbow and phoenix crossbow
